I couldn't find your account through the URL "http://www.ewebbuddy.com/", can you either provide me with the URL you used for setting up your Kontera account or the e-mail address you used for the account?
(You can e-mail me at jonathanc@kontera.com if you don't want that information publicly displayed.)

I have been a member of Kontera almost since its inception, so I cannot say that I was not in support of the advert medium and it did seem better than the regular methods. But in all these years, no returns are the main reason of my dis-association. Also, as you mentioned that any advert medium will not get full support, unfortunately on this blog the users are not supporting it at all.
But still since you have mentioned that you might be able to help in improving this, do let me know what information I should furnish you with in-order for you to be able to help. But quite frankly, I don't see much coming out of this.

Hello Jonathan, first of all, thank you so much for taking the time to go through my blog and leaving your views here. This is Jonathan from Kontera. I'm happy to update you that a great number of people have had success using our network. We wouldn't be able to stay the leading In-Text ad network, with over 15,000 Publishers and 140 million monthly page views if we weren't able to monetize for publishers.
In terms of your site, I can't know without going over your account with you, but in general terms there are a variety of different factors that different considerations factor in to what ads are considered the most relevant to your site, include the content and subject matter of your web pages, traffic sources, current campaigns running, advertiser preferences, and more. It's possible that because of one of these reasons, you weren't receiving our premium, most desired ads.
Again I really can't be sure without looking at your account, but if you e-mail me I'll be happy to look.
Regarding In-Text ads disrupting your readers, I understand that there's isn't any ad platform that will ever be a 100% embraced but Kontera is far and away one of the most user friendly platforms. Because Kontera In-Texts ads are a 100% user generated, your readers only see them when they scroll over them with their mouse, meaning they only see our ads if they’re actively curious about them.
In fact a study by comScore, the leading internet marketing research company, they found that Kontera In-Text ads were one of the least intrusive ad types. In asking site visitors which types of ad they found “very intrusive”, 63% answered Interstitial ads, 53% answered video ads, 40% for Rectangle ads, and 29% for banners, compared to only 33% of consumers finding Kontera In-Texts ads intrusive.
You can see more results from that ComScore study here: http://www.kontera.com/advertisers/research-results
Thanks,
- Jonathan Cohen
