Facebook is taking the whole Social Networking experience offline. Facebook users can now create personalized business cards out of their profile image and posts on their timeline. Yes, after the launch of the Facebook Timeline which tells literally tells the story of an user’s life, now facebook users can have their profile converted into physical business cards thanks to the integration with the Uk-based digital printing company Moo.com.
Facebook Cards, as they will be referred to, will be available to its 800-million user base across the world from today (Thursday) starting at 5pm GMT. What more, Moo.com will be giving away 50 FREE Facebook Business Cards to the first 2,00,000 users. The value of the same is 10 pounds each. So get ready to go berserk at 5pm GMT i.e. around 10:20 IST. Though if you do get lucky and get it for free, you might still have to pay the shipping (standard shipping is free though).
This is a good attempt of Facebook to become part of users life offline as well. How much will it benefit the users, I am not sure. It does have a cool factor attached to it but otherwise is not something that will last for long. I believe the main repeat customers for these cards would be internet entrepreneurs and social marketers. Moo.com is definitely going to benefit the most. 🙂

So get ready to get your hands over one and flaunt! Click here to order your FaceBook cards.
Update
I just now ordered by Facebook cards and guess what even the standard shipping was free. So I will be receiving set of 50 business cards for absolutely zero cost. Try your luck as well.
